Los Angeles may be known for celebrity gossip, sightings and drama, but once a year that is all swept neatly behind a curtain to make way for a charitable event—the American Food & Wine Festival. Now in its 27th year, the foundation has raised over $15 million for the Meals on Wheels programs of Los Angeles, which serves thousands of meals each day to L.A.’s homebound senior and disabled citizens. The event will host an evening of delectable dishes prepared by famed chefs, live music, dancing, and even a silent auction with luxurious gifts.
