The wait is over. After months of whispers and few clues besides the simple teaser "take it outside... it's a breath of fresh air," the creative forces behind Mighty, Spundae and Oola are finally opening the doors to 620 Jones - and it may not be what you expect.
620 Jones isn't the latest addition to San Francisco's club scene by nightlife vets, but rather a refreshing restaurant, lounge and bar opening up three blocks from Union Square on Jones and Geary. Transforming 13,000 square feet of historic landmark rubble that had been left vacant for decades, this soon-to-be urban oasis was revived with a modern twist, to provide diners and drinkers with an indoor-outdoor-rooftop space.
The establishment features an incredible 8,000 foot terrace filled with luscious plants, al fresco cocktails and incredible city views. The menu - comprised of small plates for Happy Hours, a full menu for dinner and Sunday brunch - was conceived by San Francisco's Oola chef, Ola Fender. Plus, in true San Francisco style, 620 Jones is currently in the works to power the entire property with solar energy and design a composting system to handle scraps and food waste.
GetWize: 620 Jones is holding their Soft Opening on Friday, October 8th, and their Grand Opening on the 15th.
