Call them rising stars or just plain “Irresistible,” but now the Australian duo NERVO has a residency at four of the clubs at Wynn and Encore Las Vegas (3131 Las Vegas Blvd. S.). Encore Beach Club, Surrender, Tryst and XS nightclubs will share multiple dates with sisters Liv and Mim Nervo throughout the remainder of the year.
“Our partnership has allowed Wynn Las Vegas to develop a superlative music lineup within a highly competitive nightlife industry,” said Jesse Waits, managing partner of XS and Tryst Nightclubs. “NERVO will offer something extremely unique to our talent roster, bringing a playful yet feisty vibe to our dance floors. We’re looking forward to their debut at Tryst on June 25.”
The duo are known as hit songwriters, producers and deejays pumping out a sassy electro-pop sound with clever lyrics. The sisters were the deejays on Britney Spears Femme Fatale tour.
NERVO has worked with top producers such as David Guetta, Afrojack, Avicii, Armin Van Buuren and Steve Aoki. Their pop collaborations include Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha and Kelly Rowland, scoring a No. 1 in multiple territories as writers for Guetta and Rowland.
The sister’s first dance release, “This Kind of Love,” debuted at last year’s Winter Music Conference, and has gone on to reach No. 1 on the World Club Charts and No. 2 on the UK Music Week Club Charts. They have deejayed for parties for Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong, and played the main stage at Ultra Music Festival alongside the world's greatest dance artists.
“We want to do it all,” Mim says. “We really admire people like Guetta, Timbaland, Missy Elliott, Mark Ronson, Diddy and will.i.am. They are all known as songwriters, producers, entrepreneurs and artists. None of them have been expected to stay in one lane and be known for one thing.”
