Beer lovers rejoice! The much-anticipated sequel to Monk's Kettle, Abbot's Cellar, finally swings open its doors on Wednesday, July 25th, offering over twenty beers on tap, 100+ bottles, and a minimal menu paired perfectly with your pint.
Decked out in rustic wood, dangling light bulbs, high ceilings, and an illuminated back bar stocked full of glassware sure to help that beer breathe, Abbot's Cellar treats beer like a refined wine. The beer list is not only meticulously curated with each selection described by style, its designated glass and ABV (so you can be sure your pint packs a punch) - but beneath the dining room lies a two-story, 500-case, climate controlled cellar to keep each and every bottle at its best.

For first timers, one of their prix fixe menus may be your best bet. Offering three and five course options, guests can taste their way through ten rotating 750ml bottles paired with gourmet bites like Roasted Quail Green Garlic Sausage and Braised Goat Ragu. Not a bad way to spend a night on Valencia Street.
