It's a given that New Years Eve in San Francisco is gonna be a doozy but things just got a whole more interesting with an announcement today from 1015 Folsom that Above & Beyond and Super 8 and Tab will be headlining their big NYE event. More supporting talent will certainly be announced in the coming weeks but we'd say this is a pretty solid start.

If you don't know Above and Beyond by now, it's time to refresh your ipod. Since 2000, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki (the 3 dudes who make up the group) have been not only rocking dance floors around the world (they were voted #4 in the DJ Mag Top 100 for 2008) and hosting one of the most successful dance music radio shows in the world (we're talking 300 episodes) but they also have produced some of the biggest music that the other biggest dj's play when they rock big crowds. It could be easily argued that they are one of the most influential names in dance music today.

It ain't all about the trio though. Warming up the main room will be none other than Super 8 and Tab, a duo that could headline the event themselves if they needed to. Couple that with the fact that 1015 has 4 rooms that will pumping out the tunes and that they have one of (if not the) best sound systems in the city and you got yourself a party mister.
