AGO @ The Hard Rock Hotel

AGO, located in the premium Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, is the brainchild of restauranteur Agostino Sciandri and partner Robert De Niro. The restaurant contains a lustrous and comfortable lounge area where diners and a-listers alike taste classy cocktails and small plates from the bar menu.

In March the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino welcomed Marco Porceddu as chef de cuisine at AGO. Porceddu, a native of Italy, brings 25 years of experience to the restaurant. The Italian chef began his career working in five-star restaurants throughout Europe before he relocated to work in Las Vegas at Portofino, MGM Grand's Tre Visi and La Scala. Porceddu also served as the Executive Chef at Steve Wynn's Francesco where he assisted in design, hiring staff and also spearheaded the wine program. In 2003, Porceddu went into business for himself and opened Bella Luna, which was recognized by Zagat’s Best of Las Vegas as the "Best Italian Restaurant."

The dining area at AGO has a vibrant and elegant atmosphere. The simple yet bold Tuscan-style Italian menu features signature dishes including Zuppe de Mare, Lasagna a la Bolognese, Tagliatelle al Ragu Antico and their famous wood fired pizzas. The dining area also includes a unique “Cava” room where guests are immersed in the atmosphere of an underground wine cellar.

AGO is the first restaurant to open at the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel in the past five years and it's dressed to impress. The restaurant's unique construction features a sleek design that adds a twist to classic Italian dining. With locations in Los Angeles, New York City and South Beach, AGO has been a success for over ten years and in its arrival in Vegas seems a little like destiny.

AGO Lounge opens at 5pm daily until 12am Sunday-Thursday and until 1am Friday & Saturday. Dining room opens at 5:30pm daily.
