Aria was built to impress. A 60 story hotel tower with 4,004 rooms, 568 suits, 16 restaurants, a two-level, 80,000 sq. foot spa with 62 treatment rooms, the city’s first co-ed spa balcony, 3 pools with 50 cabanas, an adults-only pool, and a 215,000 sq. foot pool deck. The 150,000 sq. foot casino is the only casino in CityCenter and will offer the state’s first server-based gaming slot floor. Plus, there are 10 bars and lounges, including The Light Group’s Haze Nightclub.

CEO Jim Murren said he hoped the architecture, art and design of the development would “inspire people to expand their minds.” Architect JF Finn stated, “It is truly ground breaking in every aspect of the word. Las Vegas has international cache, which immediately places CityCenter on a worldwide stage.” CityCenter has also officially received six Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold Certifications from the US Green Building Council.

Aria was the last phase of the opening of the 67-acre CityCenter development. The non-gaming Vdara hotel opened on December 1st. Crystals, the retail and entertainment district, opened for business on December 3rd. And Las Vegas’ first Mandarin Oriental hotel opened on December 4th. Welcome to CityCenter!
