Ever dream of rocking out to a huge audience but never quite had the guitar skills to do it? Dream no more. It's time to go into that closet of yours and dust off your air guitar, because two of the U.S Air Guitar qualifying rounds will be happening in San Francisco this year. Whether you're a spectator or participant, this showcase of invisible guitar shredding is an event you can't miss.

Per usual, the qualifying round will be held at the Independent, this year on June 25. But this year, San Francisco will also be hosting the finals -- meaning all those shredders of invisible instruments will be converging here on August 8 at the Grand Ballroom in hopes of making to the Air Guitar World Championships August 20 – 22 in Oulu, Finland. This means you have two chances to catch the U.S's best air guitarists in action, and lets be honest, who wouldn't want to see that?

You'll see people goofing around on stage, some people taking it way too seriously, and others looking to have a good time. No matter whether you decide to don your rock cape from the bowels of your closet or just head over to the Independent to catch a few face-melting solos, you are guaranteed to experience a spectacle you've never seen before.
