The idea is simple, great music for a great cause. The 21st annual Bridge School Benefit will be rocking the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View on Saturday, October 27th and Sunday the 28th with another All-star lineup. We've got the inside scoop to who's playing, what Bridge School is all about and why you are going to kick yourself if you miss it.
Building on the success of past concerts, this years Bridge School Benefit is shaping up to be another two days of musical performances that should not be missed. Anchoring the artists is Neil Young, who has become to the Bridge School Benefit what turkey is to Thanksgiving. Since 1986, Young has worked to organize the concert, gathering an impressive list of headlining names from the music industry. This year is no different from the rest.
Confirmed for both days are Bay Area bad boys Metallica, the “smooth” vocals of Mr. Tom Waits and the Kronos Quartet, grunge legend and Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder, Jerry Lee Lewis lighting up the ivories, Canadian twins Tegan and Sara, Regina Spektor, and presumed Guitar Hero master John Mayer.
The concert aims to be (mostly) acoustic, making the Bridge School Benefit one a of the rare chances to see some of the more “hard rocking” artists get in touch with the lighter side of their music.

Tickets for the 21st Annual Bridge School Benefit are on-sale at Livenation.com and all Ticketmaster outlets including Ritmo Latino, select FYE stores and Tix Bay Area in Union Square. Advance tickets are $150.00 and $75.00 for reserved seating and $39.50 for general admission plus applicable service charges. There is a 2 ticket limit for reserved seats and 8 ticket total purchase limit for these shows.
There are a limited number of lower level reserved seats available via auction at Ticketmaster.com beginning September 9th at 10am. Proceeds from these auction tickets will benefit the Bridge School.
