Earth Dance is a festival that happens simultaneously around the world. It's a synchronized party. It has been described by the music industry as the "Dance Aid" for the new millennium. The aim of the event is to bring together global communities to create a synchronized global festival and dance event to help fund humanitarian causes and develop an environment of peace throughout the global community. Many of the bands and DJs playing at this year's festival have played at High Sierra Music Festival in the past. The California Earth Dance Festival leans more towards the Jam Band scene than some of the other Earth Dance Festival gatherings around the world. But hey, Nor Cal is like Grand Central Station for hippies, but with less showering, so the Jam Band vibe works!
