CAPSULE doesn't provide pretty little pills, but it does deliver a healthy dose of fresh and independent design with its CAPSULE Design Festival. The 6th running of the semi-annual event takes place in Hayes Valley this Sunday, October 14th, and will host 140 independent designers showing and selling their creations.

The CAPSULE Design Festival is a major shopping fair for independent design on the West Coast. It's decidedly not a mere crafts fair. All of the designers and artists (including clothing, accessories, and lifestyle products designers as well as graphic and fine artists) were screened by CAPSULE before getting the green light to participate.

The variety of talent makes for a terrific range of merchandise. You'll see tee shirts, tableware, stationary, furniture, prints, purses, handmade jewelry, journals, home décor, leather accessories, lingerie, body products, fine art, ceramics, and more. In short, whether your style is cutting-edge or vintage-inspired, this is a prime opportunity to discover new and original designs, and a surefire remedy for the uninspired.
