Treasure Island Music Festival 2009 - 10/17/2009 - 10/18/2009
What do you get when you mix the dance hall with the indie dive? Treasure Island Music Festival. TI is a rare and unique blend of electro and indie music in one glorious two day festival - put on by Another Planet Entertainment. Last year’s headliners included the french electro sensation Justice and The Raconteurs on day 2. In a short 2 years, this has become a major event in SF. Oktoberfest by the Bay 2009 - Early October
Germany hits the American shores again in true Blitzkrieg fashion at Oktoberfest by the Bay. So many beers, so little time. Check out this beloved German national holiday, American style, in the Marina. Tickets are usually priced around $20 to get you in the gates. Hardly Strictly Blue Grass 2009 - Early October
Hardly Strictly Blue Grass is just that. One part bluegrass, one part folk, one part who knows, and one part who cares. It’s another great festival in GG Park with a fun, mellow crowd - and the best part - it’s free. Come check out a festival as big as Outside Lands for free and soak up the remaining rays of fall at Hardly Strictly Bluegrass. LoveFest 2009 - 10/03/2009
LoveFest is a true San Francisco festival all about dance music and embracing diversity through celebration. The festival centers around a massive parade right through the center of the city complete with over 40 floats and every major DJ from around the world. The week is known as LoveWeek and every venue in the city hosts their best dance parties of the year. 100,000 people can't be wrong. Feel the Love!

Exotic Erotic Ball - Late October
Bust out the whips and chains and swing down to Treasure Island for the Exotic Erotic Ball. This is definitely a festival for the open minded and ‘I’ll try anything once’ crowd.
