Fans of jazz, bluegrass, and jam band should clear their schedule during the weekend of July 4, because the High Sierra Music Festival just announced their lineup for the 2008 installment of this classic music festival. Located in Quincy, California, the High Sierra Music Festival 2008 will prove to be one of the most memorable, with another incredible array of High Sierra talent.

Since 1991, the High Sierra Music Festival has been one of the most successful festivals on the west coast. Bands like Bela Fleck & the Flecktones, Bruce Hornsby, Nickel Creek, and My Morning Jacket have all played at High Sierra, and with the initial lineup announced, this year will also bring in some big names: Abigail Washburn featuring Bela Fleck, Charlie Hunter Trio, Trombone Shorty, Flowmotion, and Gamelan X are all slated to play.
