The Monterey Music Summit, a 3-day camping festival at the Laguna Seca Recreation Area, is two weeks away, and will feature diverse artists like Snoop Dogg, Taking Back Sunday, Slightly Stoopid, STS9, and more.
The Music Summit, like many festivals this summer, is striving to be completely carbon neutral, with many local companies chipping in to provide services for the festival. In addition to the two music stages, there will be art exhibits, mountain biking, hiking, and yoga available for festivalgoers--quintessential Monterey activities that will be a welcome change to any weekend activities you may have going on.
3-day event passes are $169 each and include parking. 1-day passes are also available in limited quantities, priced at $49 on Friday, and $69 on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, check out the Monterey Music Summit website. http://www.montereymusicsummit.com/2008/
