Slated to open in December 2009, Twist will be Chef Pierre Gagnaire’s new fusion restaurant at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel at CityCenter Las Vegas. Twist will be one of just a few restaurants in the United States that is overseen by a three-star Michelin chef. Chef Gagnaire is originally from France and has owned and operated restaurants all over Europe. He is currently head chef at his own restaurant “Pierre” in Paris, France, and is known for being at the forefront of the fusion movement. He intends to bring his world renowned signature French cuisine to Twist.
Twist will be located on the 23rd floor of the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The main feature will be an impressive glass staircase leading up to a suspended wine loft. The staircase will be illuminated by over 300 gold globes and will appear to float in the air across the ceiling. Twist seats up to 74 guests and the 20 foot high windows ensure every table in the restaurant has a spectacular view that overlooks the Las Vegas Strip.
