In late July, Sunset Promotions and Alistar Monroe present the North Beach Jazz Festival in San Francisco. The NBJF is one of the best festivals of the year and will feature over 50 artists in over a dozen vanues which caps off on Saturday and Sunday with 2 free concerts at Washington Square in North Beach. This is a completely unique event which brings together Jazz greats of old and the sounds of the future.

From legendary artists like Bernard Purdie and Rueben Wilson (two of jazz's most prolific artists) to rising stars like Stephanie Wrembel and The Jazz Mafia, the week promises to be loaded with shows that you will kick yourself for missing. Whether you are a newcomer to the jazz scene or a seasoned veteran, this festival includes an eclectic mix of old and new styles of jazz, providing a great opportunity to dive into the genre.
