Osha Thai has taken the San Francisco restaurant scene by storm. There are now four Osha Thai locations in San Fransisco, each one a little different. The largest and busiest of the four is the 2nd St. location. This popular thai restaurant is fun, hip, relatively inexpensive and delicious.

If you're looking for a more casual dinning experience that's still in a funky environment, Osha Thai is your answer. Every entre hovers in the $10-16 range and the wine, sake and soju list isn't bad either. Some well known favorites include the Spicy Dice with cubes of salmon, and Osha's Sea, a combination of seafoods and fried eggplant. For appetizers, the lamb and chicken satay skewers and the spring rolls are favorites. I tend to stick to the white wine selection, which always goes well with spicy seafood dishes. The restaurant's decor is hip, as so is the crowd. While the other locations have the same basic menu, this location gets the buzz. A close second would be the Embarcadero location because of its full bar license which the other three locations do not have. The best part about this restaurant is that its the only one that made our list of Hip Restaurants that two people can enjoy for under $50.
