Hands down the best place for pizza in the Richmond and quite possibly the best thing to come out of Brazil since the bikini wax and Ronaldinho YouTube videos, Pizza Orgasmica slices up something special and isn't just your average pizza joint (although the name probably already told you that).

If you're already familiar with the name you probably know that there are two locations, and if you're familiar with the locations you probably know the one worth going to; the lesser of two really good evils, is the one tucked between fish markets and discount dollar stores... the one on Clement Street. Well known for its cheap shopping, Asian eateries, and a few quality Inner Richmond gin mills, Clement also plays host to this Pizza Orgasmica, which serves up the good times like they were going out of style.

First things first, there are two entrances so if you find yourself out on a Sunday for a family dinner make a quick left at the first door, which will bring you directly to the dinning room and a smiling(just guessing here) hostess. If you're headed out with some buddies looking to watch the ___________*(Insert favorite Bay Area team here) and sink a couple pints then you'll wanna open door number two, which leads you to a full bar.

Taking pride in their Brazilian roots, the good people of PO aren't afraid to put anything on top of their pies. You won't find too much thrill in a regular Cheese, so PO has the right pies for the adventurous pallet. Signature pizzas include the Endless Summer (BBQ chicken and sauce), the Girl from Ipanema (Brazilian chicken and corn), and the always sexy Menage a Trois (Every cheese you can think of). Like everywhere else in SF, the bill can tend to get a little high, but if you're there during lunch you'll find some wallet friendly specials.

Then there's the bar, one of the great draws to this place. PO is actually a budget drinkers paradise, with quality low priced brew and ridiculously cheap Fru-fru drinks that are an unnatural blue in color and can sometimes include a cocktail umbrella! Each day of the week has its own Happy Hour, with specific beer of the day specials and nightly themes.

The bartenders are really helpful and will let you know when a signature keg isn't pouring up to par, and will help recommend something better. These are micro brews so their taste is always unique, and remember that you're not drinking Bud Lights or Miller so four or five of these bad boys could knock you on ass or at least have you seeing double.

So for all you displaced New Yorkers and Chicagoans looking to fill that pizza and beer void, take a stroll on Clement and look for Pizza Orgasmica's faded yellow awning.
