One of San Francisco's biggest events of the summer is returning for another year of raucous revelry. LoveFest, billed at a "dance music parade and festival," brought in over 60,000 people last year, and the promoters look to increase that this year by bringing in even more world-class DJs and artists to rock the stage at the Civic Center Plaza.

Promoters just released the dates for LoveFest 2008, which will officially be held on Saturday, October 4. The event starts off with a parade at 12 noon on 2nd Street and snakes all the way to the Civic Center Plaza, where A-List DJs and artists will play until the wee hours of the night.

Confirmed artists for the event include Armin Van Buuren, ATB, Above and Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Adam Freeland, Kaskade, Elite Force, Cut Copy, Mark Farina, Kyau and Albert and many many more. The local DJ's will be out in full force as well so you can get your fix of Dirtyhertz, Syd Gris, Alain Octavo, Spesh and the rest of the bad ass talent SF has to offer.
