If you already love the great Italian fare, wait staff, atmosphere, and location for which the Financial District’s Perbacco is known, then you will love its new sister restaurant Barbacco Eno Trattoria. Located right next door to Perbacco, it maintains all of the great elements of its older counterpart, yet with a slightly more casual, hip, and affordable flare- as only a younger sister should!
Whether you’re there for a business lunch, ordering off their take-out menu on the way back to the office, or making Barbacco your dinner destination for the evening, Perbacco’s chef and owner Staffan Terje brought in his longtime protégé to create a fresh, authentic Italian menu. For lunch, a house made salame or slow roasted shoulder porchetta sandwich can spice up even the blandest of work days. For dinner, you can enjoy a multi-course meal, a quick bite and glass of wine at one of the communal tables, or try out the chic, marble bar. Speaking of wine, the extensive wine list won’t disappoint.
GetWize: If you are in it for the multi-course long haul, start with the fisherman’s stew and end with the chocolate nemesis cake. You won’t be disappointed! Barbacco Eno Trattoria is located at 220 California street.
