When anything is associated with The Beatles, expectations are high. There’s almost pressure to be bigger than Jesus - or at least bigger than Ringo. You also have to look out for all the Yokos of the world ready to tear you apart.
I promised myself I would never be a Yoko, and in the case of The Beatles Revolutionary Lounge, I don’t have to be. Revolution is a very cool, accessible, and comfortable place to hang out; which I’ve been told is similar to hanging out with Paul McCartney.
Located in The Mirage, Revolution Lounge starts its innovation before you even enter the club with the Abbey Road Bar - open every day from Noon-4 a.m.
Once inside, you can see the psychedelic stamp of Beatlemania compliments of the designers at Cirque du Soleil. From interactive tables to technicolor walls, Revolution keeps your mind turning and your eyes open all night long.
The music varies depending on the night with live DJ sets on Sundays. The great live shows and quality DJs induce more than a few dance parties.
Revolution is a high-end lounge, but not ultra-exclusive, so expect standard Strip-like drink prices without feeling insignificant if you don’t get a table.
(If you feel that gambling itch after a night at Revolution, stop by the War table directly outside the club. That’s right, you can play War like it’s Blackjack. After losing 40 bucks in 5 minutes you might want to declare actual war on the dealer.)
Whether you’re a Beatles fan or not, Revolution Lounge is a great place to unwind, have a few drinks, and trigger an acid flashback; so enjoy the festivities at your own risk.
