Think motorcycle rocker bar, beer and whiskey by the pint, and rock star vibe. Twisted Spoke is a biker bar complete with a spinning vintage motorcycle on the roof, and of course the motorcycle has a life size skull in its seat. You might be intimidated to set foot in here on your 1st visit, but belly up to the bar and ask the tattooed guy pouring your pints to tell you a bit about the beer, and you will be captivated to say the least.

You'll find about 200 beers here, 20 of them on tap, and one of the only bars in Chicago that offers about 20 beers kept on reserve. This means they are aged for years in a temperature controlled cellar, and supposedly get better with age. As you might expect, these special brews can carry a stiff price tag so if you are a frugal frother, ask about the $2 grab bag. You won't know what you're going to get but it'll only be 2 bucks, all day every day. If you're more of a whiskey chick, try one of there over 300 whiskeys, and if you're a guy who likes a little spice in his life, be ready to sweat from their Bloody Mary menu.
