LA State Historic Park

The LA State Historic Park is a newish urban park (the first in California) located in Chinatown of Downtown LA, but has been the home of many events, festivals, and concerts. Most notably, LA State historic Park is the home of FYFest, one of the best indie rock/local band fests and HARD Summer - a huge two-day electronic music fest. The grounds are impeccabley clean -- weird for an urban park -- and it's within walking distance to the Metro Gold Line, dim sum in Chinatown, and Phillipe’s. Look out for this park on your next facebook invite to the Grilled Cheese Festival -- it will most likely be held there!
