Wet Republic at the MGM Grand

The Layout: Wet Republic became when of the original players in the Vegas pool scene when it opened in 2008. Since then, Wet Republic has remained one of the prime pool party destinations in Vegas, with two salt-water pools measuring 2,500 and 3,500 square feet, six waterfalls and a 2,500-square-foot open-air ultra lounge make up the look of this pool party. The 53,000-square-foot ultra pool combines an exclusive nightlife vibe with poolside pampering.

The Scene: Saturdays will continue to provide world-class entertainment for A-list celebrities and musicians. Past hosts have included P.Diddy, Jay-Z, Rhianna, AnnaLynne McCord, Lauren Conrad, Kim Kardashian, Reggie Bush, Pete Wentz, Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, Jessica Simpson and Lindsay Lohan. The dynamic weekends will culminate with Daylife Sundays, the weekly industry party that will have some of the world’s best deejays mixing the latest beats. In the past, Wet Republic featured music legends Armand VanHelden, Behrouz, Boris, Cedric Gervais, Chris Lake, Chus & Ceballos, Ferry Corsten, Roger Sanchez, sander kleinenburg, Sharam, Steve Angelo, Tom Stephan, and Victor Calderone. On select Sundays Wet Republic also will be home to the monthly house-music event Juicy Vegas with resident DJ Robbie Rivera.

The Perks: Contemporary, linen-white palette adorned with vibrant hues of emerald green, turquoise and canary yellow evokes a sensuous South Beach ambiance. Three private dipping pools are located in the exclusive VIP bungalow area along with six VIP bungalows and 16 deluxe party cabanas. Numerous spacious day beds spread about the place as well as oversized deluxe chaise lounges and water lounges located within the pool’s six-inch-deep wet deck. Bonus: This place is 21-plus only.
