Tao Beach at the Venetian

Opening Day: March 15th, 2013

The Layout: Tucked in the back corner of the pool area at Venetian is Tao Beach - an extension of TAO Nightclub that opens up for weekend festivities during spring and summer. The 18,000-square-foot pool has day beds scattered throughout, along with plenty of lounge chairs available for you to lie down and work on your tan. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights (when weather permits), the pool transforms to a party underneath the stars. Four, 14-foot-tall fire columns and upbeat music help set the mood for all you nocturnal party-goers.

The Scene: A live deejay spins the latest in hip-hop and dance tracks in the center of the pool club

The Perks: Twelve cabanas feature air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs with gaming consoles, DVDs, WiFi and a mini-bar. Staff members add to the pampering with sunglass cleaning and body misting services. A masseuse is also available.

The Food and Drink: An extensive appetizer, sushi and grill menu from Tao Asian Bistro is available daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Refreshing favorites include the lemon and ginger-sprinkled edamame and spring veggie rolls.
