| Designed by Lydia Marks, Top of the Strand (33 West 37th Street, Manhattan, 646-368-6385) is a fairly new development on top of the The Strand Hotel. The south-facing nightspot offers a perfect view of the Empire State Building, and the vibe here is a bit more casual and inclusive than some of its competitors. Cocktails are created by resident mixologist Michael Lydakis, and on Thursday-Saturday nights from 7pm-1am, DJ Stone spins chilled-out beats to compliment the surroundings. |
