Tataki
Leave it to San Francisco to concoct a restaurant that is not only incredibly delicious, but also incredibly sustainable. At Tataki, eating seasonably and selecting fish based on environmental responsibility is their top concern - and it shows through super fresh and innovative plates that never disappoint.
While the menu may avoid "high risk" fish that other sushi spots still indulge in, the specialty rolls and starter plates are still to die for. Be sure to order up a Crab Croquette (crispy cakes with crab, sweet potato, vegetables) for your taste buds and the Extinguisher roll for the fire show (trust us). Stop by during happy hour to enjoy $2.50 beers or stick around later on for a lengthy sake list that hits all price points. Get an extra helping at their second SF location, Tataki South, in Noe Valley.
