The Free Press Summer Fest is an annual two-day music festival held in Houston, Texas at Buffalo Bayou's Eleanor Tinsley Park. 2012 marked the fourth annual event, which featured more than 160 national and local acts on eight stages with an estimated 60,000+ in attendance. The festival was started to emphasize local musical performers, visual arts, and artists. A recycling program, carbon off-set credits and a partnership with the Texas Campaign for the Environment are implemented to help this festival become a greener experience.

2011 marked the first time the Governors Ball Music Festival took over Governors Ball in NYC - since then, the fest has become a staple for New York music fans. Governor's Ball includs 12 hours of non-stop beats on two stages with no overlapping sets, so guests get a chance to see every act on the bill! With a hip lineup of new school rockers and electronic acts expanding to 3 days of music in 2013, Governer's Ball is set to bring another round of fresh talent from the festival circuit.

Perhaps the best festival East of the Mississippi, and certainly one of the biggest, Bonnaroo sees over 100,000 attendees descend on a 700-acre farm in Manchester, Tennessee each summer. In addition to an unrivaled music lineup, comedy is also a focus of this outdoor camping mega festival. Spring Awakening is Chicago's newest electronic music festival featuring the top DJs & producers from all over the world. The fest takes over Soldier Field in downtown Chicago for two-days of ear-splitting bass and upbeat house music. If Pitchfork, Lollapalooza and North Coast Music Festival don't have enough electronic music for Chicago, then Spring Awakening is sure to fill the void.

Returning for its fifth year, The Bounce Festival has quickly become a staple for bass-loving music fans in Northern California. Created by Fresh Bakin' (Lake Tahoe's premiere music collective), this year's Bounce Fest features a lineup aimed to melt genre horizons through top quality artistry - Beats Antique, Thievery Corporation's Rob Garza, Ana Sia, GriZ and the Polish Ambassador are just a few of the big acts set to grace the stage this June.

After problems at their old location in Los Angeles, Insomniac decided to move their flagship fest, Electric Daisy Carnival, to Las Vegas in 2011. Since the move, EDC has proved to be a huge success with approximately 300,000 attendees in 2012 and several days of wild concerts, panels, workshops and more surrounding EDC Week. The massive 2013 event has already been green lighted for Las Vegas with one of the biggest EDM lineups we've ever seen.

Believe it or not, Summerfest in Milwaukee is the largest festival in the United States in terms of attendance. It has hosted nearly every big name in music at one time or another and literally hundreds of thousands of people show up each year to hear music on a dozen stages. While the headlining acts are typically classic rockers and famous bands from the past, Summerfest also books a handful of contemporary country, rock and folk acts.

A collaborative enterprise from Madison House Publicity (known for Jam band and Blue Grass acts and events) and Insomniac (arguably the biggest Dance Music event organizer in the country), Electric Forest picks up where Rothbury Festival left off in 2009. Held in Rothbury, Michigan, this event promises the beauty of the outdoors, the pleasant sound of a guitar strumming and some ground shakin' bass from some of the biggest names on the club circuit all at the same time.

The 2011 Kanrocksas Music Festival was Kansas City's first real mega-fest, bringing in huge names from hip hop to rock and EDM. As one of the biggest music events to ever hit the Midwest, Kansas locals were disappointed in the fest's cancellation in 2012. Fortunately, Kanrocksas is back and more spectacular than ever with what's sure to be a huge lineup taking over Kansas Speedway.
