Well hello November! There's no time to waste recovering from the costumed debauchery that was Halloween, because SF is starting the month right with visits from internationally renowned DJ's from Germany, England and Chile and a slew of US All-stars. On another note, what do you think of when you hear "Chardonnay", "Cocktail" and "12-pack"? While some of you might think of your livers or incumbent memory loss, there are those special few who are reminded of the bizarre yet loveable contestants from VH1's D-list celeb/reality/dating shows. If cheesy yet addictive VH1 shows float your boat, then head to 1015 where it is guaranteed that one of them will cry, someone will throw up, someone else will throw a chair, 2 chicks will get in a scantily-clad cat-fight...the possibilities are endless. Not that we watch those shows or anything...

Puscifer @ Fox Theater
The side project from Maynard James Keenan from "Tool and A Perfect Circle", Puscifer will be playing at the Fox Theater for two nights this week. Originally starting as a fictional band in the first episode of Mr. Show, Puscifer eventually became a real one where Keenan is the only constant member and uses the band as a way of expressing his thoughts and emotions in music. All Keenan asks is for people to check their "over-inflated expectations at the door."

In celebration of Prismatic's 4 Year Anniversary, Temple is bringing in doe-eyed and sweet, sultry voiced DJ Colette. The Chicago house siren will be joined by Andrew Phelan, George Cochrame, and Know Slumber.

Boyz Noize @ Mighty
Getting his start in the musical world at the tender age of six, German born Electro music producer and DJ Alexander Ridha started off practicing on the piano and drums. At the age of 16 he started to produce when he was taught engineering and eventually became Boys Noize. After debuting his first album "Oi Oi Oi" in 2007, he has gained much press. This Saturday, don't miss him as he celebrates his second album "Power" at Mighty.

Carl Cox @ Mezzanine
British techno and house DJ Carl Cox was the first person ever to be named the number one DJ in the world in DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJ poll in 1997. Beginning his career as a hardcore and acid house DJ in the mid 1980's, Cox made a name for himself in '88 when he began to play on three turntables at once. Now Cox heads two record labels and is known around the world as one of the best DJ's known to man.
