If the words sex, funk, and synth are the only things coming out of your mouth when asked about New Years Eve, then it's most likely that you're headed to see Chromeo at Club Nokia. As the self proclaimed "only successful Arab/Jewish partnership since the dawn of human culture", the funk duo, comprised of Pee Thug and Dave 1, discoed into the Montreal scene in 2002. Best friends since their adolescence, these musicians and walking hip hop encyclopedias have been described as "It's Hall & Oates riding on 22's, busting shots in the air with Quincy Jones driving." Wow.

While their first album "She's in Control" (2004) established them as a funk force to be reckoned with, it wasn't until their 2007 release of "Fancy Footwork" that brought them into the media spotlight. If your feet weren't moving then, then they're certainly burning the floor now. Chromeo will be accompanied by Peanut Butter Wolf, Vega & Gaslamp Killer. Get a new pair of shoes and head to Club Nokia this NYE 2010 for Chromeo.
