Nothings brings out San Diego’s local loco flavor more than Cinco De Mayo. In the city that finds a reason to fiesta no matter what season, expect May to kick off summer mayhem with a ton of great parties and events!

FRIDAY - MAY 4
29TH ANNUAL FIESTA OLD TOWN
The annual Cinco De Mayo celebration in Old Town San Diego is a three day party (May 4th - 6th) featuring three stages of live entertainment with music, food and fun! It's a completely FREE event with an incredible variety of festivities and entertainment for the whole family to enjoy including a special kids area and stage. Don't forget about the beer garden and tequila sampling area for anyone who wants to get in the real spirit of Mexico.

PADRES CINCO DE MAYO PARTY & TAILGATE
Petco Park kicks off Cinco de Mayo with the Padres at 5 p.m. sharp with drink specials like $5 beers, $5 margaritas, and $5 carnitas tacos, as well as live music groove to before the first pitch against the Florida Marlins at 7:05 p.m. Buy your tickets early and save at Padres.com.

SATURDAY - MAY 5
5 DE MAYO @ EL DORADO
Cumbias, rock en Español and 80’s beats will rock El Dorado at the East Village hipster haven. With tequila, margarita, and Michelada specials and a taco stand (stationed on the back patio, expect more surprises than can fit in a piñata (but yes there will be one of those too!). Special guests include Azucar, Kid Wonder, Office Twins & Adam Salter.

ZONKEY FEST @ EL CAMINO
Hit up the Super El Camino Zonkey fest for a fiesta that annually shakes up Little Italy starting at 2pm. $3 Tequila shots, $3 Coronas, and $4 Tecate Tallboys and a plentiful supply of piñatas and low-riders are sure to keep things caliente including a photo booth and a real life Zonkey….

Rock the Boulevard
The Lafayette hotel will kick off it’s annual summer season of pool parties with a weekend bash celebrating the North Park community. While not a traditional Cinco de Mayo fest, with three days of live music, poolside movie screenings, fashion shows and more it will be a fiesta for sure.

Cinco de Drinko Ocean Beach
In Ocean Beach every day is perfect party weather, Cinco de Mayo no exception. With bars on every corner, while finding a party won’t be hard, expect the largest celebration to go down at Gallagers Pub by the beach. With a free taco bar, $4 you-call-it’s and tequila, $3 Dos XX and $4 whiskey all night, Gallagher’s promises to do it big with “a Irish style Cinco de Mayo, you won’t forget.”

GASLAMP CINCO DE MAYO FIESTA @ ONYX ROOM
Join Onyx Room for a special Cinco de Mayo Event in the Gaslamp Quarter. Enjoy drink specials, shot specials and Cinco de Mayo party favors all night! They'll be celebrating until after hours with a themed photo booth, piñata, mariachis, Cerveza Girls and more! Don Santino, DJ Frances, Cowboy Mike, Genevieve and Taylor C will be on the decks, spinning Latin and house party beats all weekend long.

HAPPY CINCO DE MAYO @ IVY NIGHTCLUB
Celebrate Cinco De Mayo with a DJ dance party at Ivy Nightclub. With music from DJHere productions, live dancers and plenty of other entertainment, Ivy is the place to be for anyone looking for a clubby Cinco De Mayo party atmosphere. Grab a few shots of tequila, take a few quick shots in Ivy's photobooth and dance the night away. The fiesta starts at 9pm.

CINCO DE MAYO @ LA PUERTA
If you’re antsy to get your fiesta on La Puerta has you covered. Starting at 10 a.m. La Puerta will opens its doors and serve up delicious Mexican fare. $1 mimosas til 2pm, a happy hour menu, rotating drink specials and DJ sets all day (and mariachi bands too) will keep the festivities spicy all day.

SUNDAY - MAY 6TH
FESTIVAL CINCO DE MAYO @ THIRD AVENUE VILLAGE
The Third Avenue Village Association invites you to experience a taste of Mexico at the Festival Cinco de Mayo on Sunday, May 6. Festival guests will receive a true cultural experience as they sway with Mexican dancers, peruse the work of local artisans and taste authentic south of the border cuisine. Stick around for the Battle of the Mariachi Bands and enjoy the Hispanic cultural heritage that's on display.
