Jason Stewart, AKA DJ Them Jeans is possibly the tallest human being in America that's not on an NBA team. They could certainly use a guy like him--he would bring instant style to the league. The man rocks a pair of vintage Vuarnets like nobody's business.
Dude can also righteously rock a party on the turntables, mashing up ghetto hip-hop tracks like Kia Shine's "Krispy" with 80s synth master Jan Hammer's soothing neon tones from the Miami Vice soundtrack. His mix of Bloc Party with Lil' Scrappy is about as ill as they come. Dude just wants to make you dance - is that so wrong? You can see him mix it up at hotspots all over town — he's kind of hard to miss. Check him out when he hits the decks with big ’80s revivalists Chromeo and Chicago DJ tag-team Flosstradamus at Cinespace on July 24th. That one's sure to be seriously off the hinges. -- Scott T.
