Throw on your skates and short-shorts, and head over to Rain at the Palms on December 17th for Down & Derby, the ultimate 70’s retro roller disco party. Originally created as a unique alternative nightlife experience, roller disco has been tearing up the rinks in all the big cities, like New York and LA. Now hitting the Vegas scene, Down & Derby is getting ready to throw one of its biggest parties yet. Michael Fuller, VP of N9NE Group said, “The Down and Derby roller skating dance party is one of the hottest new concepts in all the major metropolitan cities, . . . we decided we had to bring it to the Palms to truly make it over-the-top.”

DJ $HR3D and DJ Nugget will be at the rink mixing up the sizzlin' 70’s disco fever dance sound. In addition to 70’s music and décor, the 70’s suggested dress code is: "Guys; Tight shorts, high socks, tank tops that rock and spandex that shock; and Ladies; Thighs of steel on two inch wheels, with striped shorts to seal the deal." This Down & Derby promises to be the best skating, drinking, dancing and making out . . . all on 8 wheels!

Flamingo Road). $10 at the door. $5 with advance ticket purchase at their website. Roller skating rental is $5. Dress is 70’s disco fever. Doors are open from 10:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.
