Tickets go on sale Saturday March 5 at 12pm (noon) EST for Electric Forest, a new hybrid genre music festival slated for June 30-July 3 in Rothbury, Michigan.

Electric Forest is hosted by Madison House Publicity, a talent agency that brings with it a long history of quality shows/events and a heavy roster of cross over artists under their wing, and Insomniac, an LA event promoter that throws heaps of massive events like Beyond Wonderland and EDC in Southern California.

Headliners include jam freaks The String Cheese Incident, trance lord Tiesto, booming' West Coast thunk from Bassnectar and Pretty Light's gorgeous grooves. The rest of the lineup is a cast of support from a wide spectrum of genres. From the string laden sounds of bands like Railroad Earth and Emmit Nershi (also of SCI) to reggae ala Stephen Marley, classic rock from legends like REO Speedwagon or the up and comers from the dance, indie and experimental camps, this is one of the strongest offerings for a festival no matter how you slice it.
