Just when you thought that you had San Francisco Nightlife figured out, the city with more bars per capita than any other in the nation gets another new comer this weekend with the opening of Eve Lounge (575 Howard St.) Details about the space are very hush hush but as they say on their Facebook page, “Step off the street and into a world where beautiful ladies serve hand-crafted cocktails in a lounge that resonates the jazz-aged era.”

Oddly enough, for their opening weekend, Eve welcomes the Internet super star DJ Mei-Lwun and multi-media rock star The Whooligan on September 18th and 19th. It’s a bit of a mixed signal but who knows, maybe beautiful ladies will serve us handmade fine cocktails out on the dancefloor while we grind on our dates to a Journey/Dr. Dre mash up. For now we are going to have to keep our eye on this new comer and see if they have the goods to make the place pop.
