Fabio Viviani Introduces Firenze Osteria

We all know the mother in-laws are difficult but evidently father in laws are just as bad as Top Chef season five fan favorite Fabio Viviani has discovered in a split with Michael Takeda of Cafe Firenze. Don’t look for any dirt though; Vivinai’s exit speech was classy and eloquent as is his new establishment Firenze Osteria.

Viviani has partnered with Lisa Long to transform the 21 year old Barsac Brasserie. For those who loved Barsac, fear not only minor renovations have been made to the main dinning room’s genuine old country interior while the upstairs has been completely overhauled, pleasing those who revel in innovation. Firenze Osteria grand opening on October 24th was truly grand with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres for all, no private invite required. However, with dishes like Prime Angus Beef Filet Mignon with a Blueberry Balsamic Reduction and Butternut Squash and Ricotta Tortellacci in a Light Sage and Cream Butter Sauce, that may be the last time that the common man can get a bite at Firenze Osteria. Jacopo Falleni, who grew up with Viviani helms the bar, which offers one of the best martini menu to date. The wine by the glass menu is of the never before seen variety catering to both the beginner and the true gourmand. Firenze Osteria is truly a gentleman’s restaurant and ladies, the gentlemen helming the restaurant are also easy on the eyes.

GetWize: Rumor has it that Fabio and Jacopo will be offering cooking lesson through Firenze Osteria, private lesson hopefully.
