A Flaming Lips, Ghostland Observatory Sandwich

In the cosmos of indie rock, it's not uncommon knowledge that The Flaming Lips' live show is quickly becoming - if it hasn’t already been - the thing of a psychedelically absurd legend. The veteran trio are prepping their new album, Embryonic, for a fall release and are going to bring the madness to Los Angeles. In tow, or maybe even under the multi-colored wings, of Wayne Coyne and Co. shall be Ghostland Observatory, the panache Texas duo whose oddball antics and audio mysticism are snagging comparisons to the likes of Freddy Mercury and Prince.
