Please join NextAid and members of the San Francisco Dance Music Community in its fourth annual benefit for children affected by AIDS in Africa on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Café Cocomo. “For The Future” will bring together an incredible group of talent from the major DJ crews in the city including Sunset/PacificSound, Green Gorilla, Forward, Stompy, [Kontrol], Om Records, and DirtyBird.

The 14-hour event is meant to share the music, spread the word, and raise funds for NextAid’s “Youth With A Vision Community Center and Children’s Residential Village” (YWAV Center) an environmental project in Dennilton, a poverty and AIDS stricken town in South Africa.

“For the Future” DJs include M3, Anthony Mansfield, Sharon Buck, Tasho, Deron, Nikola, Galen, Solar, Still Rob G, Lance Desardi, Craig Kuna, J. Boogie, Worthy, Garth, Seven, Fil Latorre, Paul Guido, and dj d.r.e. Event partners include Café Cocomo, NiteVibe, SF Station, YBR Promotions and the MML. There will also be a raffle with items donated by local San Francisco businesses such as Giants tickets and a massage by TruSpa.
