The best weekend of summer might just be the last if the folks at FYF Fest 2011 have anything to say about it. The annual event, happening this year on Saturday, September 3rd, brings together music, comedy and food for a 12-hour throw-down at the Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown L.A.

This year’s lineup (see below for full list) includes a slew of established rockers and indie acts like The Descendants, Guided by Voices, and Dead Milkmen alongside electronic masterminds Dan Deacon, Four Tet, and more. Topping off the mix will be some of the hottest new acts of decade including San Francisco’s Girls, New York’s Cults, and the LBC’s very own Avi Buffalo. All that plus a Death From Above 1979 reunion show, over a dozen stand-up comedians, and tons of food from LA’s hottest food trucks. Get all the info at FYF's website.
