Ghost Ship IV - The Afterlife

Every once in a while a party gets announced that puts the heads in the know into a bit of a frenzy. It’s not about the DJ who will be headlining the event or state of the art sound system that he/she/they will be performing on. It’s a party that people just know will be off the hook based on previous versions of the event and the people behind it. Enter Ghost Ship 2011, the Halloween event brought to you by Sunset Promotions (Sea of Dreams, North Beach Jazz Festival) and Space Cowboys (Breakfast of Champions) on Saturday October, 29th.

After 3 years of successful Ghost Ship events under their belt, the organizers doing anything but putting the ship on auto pilot. Bigger, better, louder, wilder is mantra for 2011. Specific details on the event this year are still a bit hazy but the general info goes like this…

Featuring an enormous space packed with multiple sound areas, more than 30 of the Bay Area's finest Djs and performers, performance artists, mindboggling artcars, local foodtrucks and an enormous array of large-scale artwork made for, and available for your viewing pleasure on this one night only.
