Giant Maximus intends on being bigger than huge. Seven acres, three big top tents, cross-dressing acrobats in exotic clown make-up, games and “amusements,” and carnival rides! It’s a big kid circus.
DJ heavyweights have been called in to razzle your dazzle into 2009. Moby, Benny Benassi, and an early set by Paul Oakenfold highlight the big stage. The lovable lecherous Mickey Avalon headlines the second stage (we won't call it "little"). Miss mom and dad? Sets from local homeboys Franki Chan and Paparazzi should encourage you to feel like you're with family. Be sure to check out Tittsworth; he'll serve much more than a mash up.
Come for the ferris wheel, stay for the music, witness yourself transform into the sideshow attraction. Especially from the vantage point of a VIP cabana flanking the main stage—yours for only $1,500 (includes 4 VIP tickets, red roped area all to yourself, a bottle of vodka, open bar and free snacks). Can’t go all out but want to feel a little glamorous? Go for a VIP ticket, $155, pillage the open bar. Try making friends with one of the cabanas by throwing your empty champagne bottles at the general admission crowd who only forked out $65 to get their groove on. Just kidding, resolve to be nicer to strangers at parties…
