(makes one cocktail)
 
INGREDIENTS:
1 part Havana Club dark rum
1 part Absolut Vodka
1 part Kahlua Mocha
1 tbs. creamy peanut butter
1 tbs. chocolate syrup
2 parts almond milk
Torched mini-marshmallows for garnish

GARNISH IDEAS: Gently torch mini-marshmallows

GLASSWARE: Martini

PREPARATION:
In a pint glass, mix together the peanut butter and chocolate syrup. Stir in the Kahlua until well blended then add vodka and rum and stir everything before adding the almond milk. Fill a martini shaker with ice and add mixture. Shake vigorously until well chilled. Drizzle the insides of a martini glass with chocolate syrup. Strain cocktail into the martini glass. Torch 3-4 mini-marshmallows place in the middle of drink.

WHAT WE THOUGHT:
The best parts of being a kid (campfire s'mores) and the things that make adulthood worthwhile (legal alcohol consumption) find a happy balance in this drink. Purely for research purposes, we doubled the peanut butter and chocolate syrup portions. We're happy to report, it only improved the texture and taste. The only downside to this drink lies in its similarity to dessert, which caused us to forget we were ingesting alcohol and led to one merry office holiday party.

Tip: We recommend investing in a handheld butane torch for toasting the marshmallows (and because there is always a need to light things on fire).
