Where can you sample food from 75 vendors of different culinary stripes, sip on wine and beer from 35 brewers and 30 winemakers, and listen in on some amazing musicians you've been dying to see? Why, in New York City of course (duh), the weekend of May 19 through the 20th, when The Great GoogaMooga overruns beautiful Prospect Park in Brooklyn. The hybrid music, drink, and culinary event intends to bring neighbors together to, well, be together to do what neighbors should be doing more often -- eating, drinking, and chillin'.

This uniquely New York festival is being held together by some pretty heavy glue -- Anthony Bourdain (the man needs no intro), David Rockwell, Tom Colicchio of Top Chef notoriety, Garrett Oliver of Brooklyn Brewery, Paul Grieco of Terroir & Hearth, Eddie Huang of Baohaus and several others. If the notion of getting drunk and with a full belly wasn't enough reason to attend, then catching a Hall & Oates performance should be the kicker.
