Haight Street Fair Back in its 32nd Year
The fair runs on Sunday from 11:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. with an unannounced band lineup of local artists. This year's event is a tribute to Merl Saunders (who passed away last year); the San Mateo born blues and funk musician famous for his Grateful Dead colaborations and Hammond B-3 prowess. As always, there will be plenty of vendors, art, and music. Profits from the event go to San Francisco charities and non-profit organizations.
GetWize: The epicenter of the event is Haight-Ashbury, obviously. Parking is easiest in Golden Gate Park. Stop over at Hippie Hill on your way over to get a feel for the Haight Groove. Get more event info from the event site here.
