Halloween in San Diego is always a frightfully good time, with the city's nightclubs, music venues and party hotspots hosting spooky events, bar crawls and concerts. From the Gaslamp to Pacific Beach, we've rounded up the wildest Halloween 2012 celebrations in San Diego so you can focus on your costume.

Halloween Weekend @ Stingaree
Looking for a full weekend of Halloween parties in San Diego? Stingaree will be hosting three days of spooky parties in the Gaslamp with events on Friday, Saturday and Halloween Wednesday. Friday kicks the party off with Havana Brown, Asylum Saturday picks up the beat with sounds from DJ Cobra and Wednesday gets Hallo-Weird with DJ sets by ill.gates, Stephan Jacobs, Robot and more stellar DJs at Guesthouse and the Stingaree rooftop.

San Diego Monster Bash
Taking over the streets of the downtown Gaslamp Quarter, San Diego Monster Bash is one of the biggest Halloween parties in San Diego featuring three massive stages with performances from Flosstradamus, The Knocks, DJ Mike Attack and other huge music acts. Dress up in your spookiest costume for a chance to win the $3,000 grand prize at the Monster Bash Costume Contest and make sure you hit up the bars and restaurants surrounding the block party for some terrifyingly awesome drink and food specials.

LED Presents Afrojack @ Petco Park
The world's favorite dirty Dutch DJ Afrojack will be all over the west coast this Halloween, but his biggest performance by far will be Saturday night at Petco Park where Bobby Burns, RL Grime, TJR and Anna Lunoe will help blowout the bass for thousands of costumed EDM fans. Anticipated to be the largest Halloween event in San Diego, you'd better get tickets now if you plan on going at all.

Haunted W San Diego
It's just about time to put on your costumes and celebrate Halloween in style at the Haunted W San Diego. The party is slated to feature two of San Diego's top local DJs on two dancefloors with a wicked VIP lounge and VIP open bar. Kick back with cocktails or take a breather on their open air rooftop lounge as you party the night away with SD's hottest Halloween revelers.

Costume Brewery Tour @ Sessions Public
All aboard the BOOze Bus! On Saturday, October 27th Sessions Public is calling all zombies, superheroes and naughty (enter anything here) to celebrate Halloween and BEER! Dress up in your most creative costumes and join them for a full day of "Brunch and a Brewery Tour". Begins at 11am with brunch at Sessions. Ghoulish guests will enjoy a selection of signature "Taps & Toast" dishes such as the Tasso Ham Benedict, Sweet Potato Hash and Chicken & Waffles. Prior to boarding, wet your palate with bottomless mimosas. Buses are provided by the San Diego Brewery Tours and will take attendees to 3 local craft breweries (Guests choice! Options could include Ballast Point, Port Lost Abbey, Alesmith and/or Society) and will return to Sessions at 4pm promptly

Halloween @ Hard Rock Hotel feat. Chris Lake
Saturday night kicks off Hard Rock Hotel's epic Halloween festivities with a huge night of music across 5 venues (207 Nightclub, Legends Ballroom, Float, Edge Ballroom). Headlining DJ Chris Lake will be on deck to spin his signature house jams with Sid Vicious, Chris Garcia and more local mixmasters hitting up the smaller stages. Expect 15 DJs in all over 3 floors with multiple bars to keep you lubricated.

Halloween Block Party @ House of Blues
The House of Blues is going all out for Halloween in San Diego with a massive block party that will transform the venue into haunting grounds for the freakish antics of the Technomania Circus, with thumping sounds pumping through three stages of the industry's top DJ's. DJ Scratchy is set as the headlining DJ with a $500 costume contest, a party photobooth and more awesome attractions.

Halloween Ball feat. Manufactured Superstars @ The Prado
Every year, the Prado at Balboa Park is transformed into a ghoulish party destination for party people in San Diego looking for an amazing place to celebrate. Expect four areas featuring Manufactured Superstars and other renowned DJs, flowing cocktails and plenty of room to get on the dancefloor and boogie. Celebrate Halloween night with the sounds of Morgan Page at Hard Rock Hotel as the allstar DJ will be taking over the decks for a massive party inside the Legends Ballroom. Up and comer Beltek is set to play the opening set for the thousands of costumed party animals on the dancefloor.

Big Lebowski Halloween @ Sessions Public
This Halloween, Wednesday October 31st, ditch the cliché and head down to Sessions for a little BIG Lebowski fun. The cult-classic themed event invites locals to don their best "The Dude", Bunny or even dare to replicate John Goodman's epic character, Walter, with a costume contest commencing at 10pm. Sip on $4 "Caucasians" (White Russians) or 20 beers on tap while watching the hysterical comedy and noshing on Session's signature pub grub. Movie begins at 7pm and will play throughout the evening. As one of SD's favorite underground, rock n' roll music venues, you can be sure that the Casbah will get particularly crazy this Halloween.

Halloween Gaslamp Pub Crawl
The producers of the world's largest pub crawl are back, taking over the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter for ours of cheap drinking and Halloween debauchery. Expect drink specials like $2 draft beers, $4 shots and more as the Halloween 2012 Pub Crawl takes over the Gaslamp's best bars and lounges. If you've never participated in a bar crawl before, don't miss the mayhem this time around!
