Naja’s place is a beer drinker’s bar, hands down. Underground P & G is an adults playground -- TVs, dart boards, and other playthings abound in this giant bar in Hermosa, and people love it -- for good reason. For example, Monday, from 3pm to 7pm features $2 off well drinks, $3 domestic bottles and pints, $4 import/premium bottles & pints, $8 domestic pitchers, $12 import/premium pitchers and select $3 shot specials plus 1/2 off select appetizers. Happy hour occurs relatively early at this classy joint, usually from 5pm to 7pm, if you’re looking for 2 for one specials on mediterranean fusion cuisine and $4 wine specials form a list so refined, you’ll feel like marie Antoinette when you sip on it. Apparently, happy hour extends through the evening on Tuesdays, so you’ll have many hours to test and drink everything on “The Med’” menu that day.

WeHo Happy Hours

Gold Coast Bar

It’s divey, it’s cheap, and it has one of the best daily happy hours on Santa Monica Boulevard. Gold Coast Bar offers happy hour everyday from 5pm to 8pm, allowing patrons to imbibe $2.50 domestic beers and $3 well drinks. Doing the math, that’s a lot of booze for very little cash. Plan on staying here late? Well, they have a late-night happy hour menu as well -- from 11pm to midnight, you get the same prices on domestics and wells, plus $5 pitchers.

Nobu is one of the essential restaurants you have to visit in Los Angeles because dining there is an experience. THis contemporary Japanese restaurants not only has one of the most fabulous dining menus in the city, but they have a tapas and happy hour option as well. Score for the penny pinchers, because this place isn’t cheap. Another divey spot on Santa Monica, but one of the busiest places for the city's gay crowd on any given night. The happy hour at Trunks is probably what draws the crowds in, on Mondays, well drinks are $4 (normally $5) and beer will cost you about $3. Bartenders and staff are always friendly to customers and the music selection will always keep you entertained here.

BOA is a fancy schmancy steakhouse, but don’t let that deter you from ever eating there. Particularly since BOA has a pretty awesome happy hour going on that allows you to dine on surf and turf plates at discounted, along with drink specials ranging in the $5 to $7 range, featuring the BOA fusion cocktail, $5 - $6 glasses of wine, a $7 margarita, and an $8 martini.

This modern restaurants takes simple steakhouse food to a new level.
