In case you hadn't heard, Colorado based Pretty Lights is blowing up on the music scene right now. Derek Vincent Smith, a DJ/Producer based out of Colorado and his drummer friend Cory Eberhard have been rocking crowds around the country and are hitting the festival circuit hard this summer with appearances at Wakarusa, High Sierra, Bonnaroo, Rothbury, Camp Bisco and 10k Lakes - check out the full tour. The music is a fusion of hip hop, electronica, jam and funk and as odd as the combo may sound, they make it work. Very well in fact. This Saturday, Pretty Lights will shine down on The Independent for their first SF appearance. Tickets are only $15 - get em here and the show starts at 9:00 p.m.
