JetBlue Airways and Superfly Marketing Group are spicing up our trips to and from New York's JFK airport. Today they announced the launch of "Live from T5," a six-month, 12-date live music concert series at JetBlue's new Terminal 5. JetBlue's new Terminal 5 is hooking up passengers with music instead of kitschy giftshops and Starbucks. Finally, an airline that gives the people what they want: live concerts in the airport. The concert series will take place on Fridays throughout the year and will feature emerging artists from around the country as well as bands chosen through public votes in an online contest for bands to participate in the series. Based on votes, five artists will win a spot during "Live from T5" by uploading their music to OurStage.com and a grand prize winner will also open for a headlining act at Bowery Presents' Terminal 5. The contest starts today and runs until July 22nd with winners announced during the first week in August.
