July 4th may be on a Wednesday this year, but that's not stopping San Francisco from celebrating our independence all the way into the weekend. From waterfront fireworks to late night dance parties to pub crawls across the city, this holiday week won't be a bust.

Fourth of July Celebration at the Pier

San Francisco shows off its stars and stripes on the Wharf with the annual celebration at Pier 39. Kicking live music off at 2pm, there will be an Air Force Band and 80s covers to hold you over till the big fireworks show at 9:30pm over the Bay. DJ Scotty Fox will follow up with club jams till the Pier closes down at 11pm.

Rock-it! Wednesdays Independence Day Celebration

Finish the night off with an Infusion Lounge dance party featuring Las Vegas resident DJ Ikon and musician Rico Delargo. Arrive earlier in the evening to enjoy Buy One Get One dinner specials and a happy hour from 6pm till 9pm.

1st Annual 4th of July Back Alley BBQ

The Bay Bridged's El Rio Big Time Freedom Fest

It's time once again for the Bay Bridged's El Rio Big Time Freedom Festival. Now in it's seventh year, this all day fest features some of the hottest local indie bands including Religious Girls, Tartufi, Finn Riggins, Battlehooch, Night Call, and The Heart & The Hiding. From 5pm till 8pm, enjoy $3 pints and wells plus $5 Bloody Marys. Rocky's Fry Bread will provide some nosh. $8 cover.

Red White & Brew Pub Crawl

Take advantage of $2 drafts, 2-for-1 mixed drinks, and $4 whiskey shots though Union Street and the Marina with the Red White & Brew Pub Crawl. Check into the Bar None at noon to grab your bar crawl map, then head on out and get wild. Participants are encouraged to dress up as Uncle Sam or "Aunt Samantha" for the full 4th of July experience. $10 cover.

Speak Easy 4th of July Cruise

Pura Saturdays

Join in a joint celebration for Independence Day Weekend and the 2 year anniversary of Pura at 1015 on Saturday night.
