Kasa Plate of Food
Kasa Set to Open 2nd Location on Fillmore

Since opening their door's 16 months ago, Kasa has been voted "The Best new Restaurant in San Francisco" and "The best meal under $15." With their reasonable prices and simple home-style Indian food served on metal plates (called a "Thali") as a homage to the of people in India who eat on the trays each and every day, we see why. Everything at Kasa is made from scratch from fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and created to honor the century-old cooking traditions. Kasa believes in making food that their "grandmothers would be proud of" and want patrons to feel as though they are eating in households throughout India.

At Kasa you can have your meal made in two different ways: one option is the "Kati Roll" which is a main dish wrapped in a flaky, buttery roti (handmade bread) with marinated onions, chutney and raita (cucumber yogurt), or have your meal served in a Thali (plate) with one or two main dishes, rice, roti, veggie salad, slow-cooked lentils, chutney and raita. Main dishes include staples like Chicken Tikka Masala, lamb curry, Aloo Jeera and a daily vegetarian special.

Now you can enjoy the simplicity and freshness that is Kasa in two locations when they open the doors of their second location on Fillmore scheduled for December 4th. The new location will have the same amazing food but will be open until 2am, hold 65 people and have an outdoor patio. You can get your drink on here too, and with $9 pitchers of PBR, you won't break the bank.

Getwize: Kasa's Castro location is located at 18th st and Noe, from 11am - 10pm and until midnight on Friday and Saturday. The Castro Location delivers after 6:00 pm (with a $15 minimum). The second location will be located on Fillmore and Pixley (2 blocks south of Lombard) from 11am - 2am.
